• 2 Hartford Residents, Glastonbury Resident Charged After Newington Police Swarm Vehicle At Stop & Shop: NPD (patch.com) — Newington police used a license plate reader alert to track a reported stolen vehicle to the Stop & Shop on Kitts Lane, where officers safely surrounded the car and arrested three occupants. The suspects, from Hartford and Glastonbury, now face a range of larceny, drug, and weapons-related charges after officers found narcotics, paraphernalia, and a facsimile firearm in the vehicle.
