Newington To Distribute COVID-19 At-Home Tests To Residents

The distribution will be this week.

NEWINGTON, CT — The town of Newington will distribute a limited number of at-home rapid test kits for COVID-19. The distribution will be a drive-thru event Friday, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Newington High School at 605 Willard Ave.

If you want to pick up a test, you must bring proof of Newington residency. A maximum of two test kits will be distributed to each vehicle.

The primary focus of the tests is for members of the public who have a known exposure or are symptomatic and are unable to find another test.

(a) individuals/families that believe they might have been exposed or have been experiencing symptoms.

(b) individuals that traveled over the holidays and have been experiencing symptoms
