• Middletown Woman Charged Tuesday In Newington Hit-And-Run: Police (patch.com) — Newington police have charged a 44-year-old Middletown woman in connection with a September hit-and-run on Hartford Avenue that seriously injured a 70-year-old pedestrian. Investigators used neighborhood surveillance footage, a recovered side mirror, and the FLOCK camera system to identify the suspect’s Toyota Camry and link it to her workplace. She was arrested on multiple charges and held on bond, with a court appearance scheduled in New Britain.
