WeHa Man Gets Nice Win With Scratch-Off Bought In Newington
The individual stopped short of the max payout, but the winning prize was measured in the thousands.
WEST HARTFORD/NEWINGTON, CT — A West Hartford man scratched off a nice investment Friday with a winning ticket purchased in Newington.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., he won $10,000 playing the $100,000 Cashword 12 game, a scratch-off game that costs $10 to play.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Eagles Nest gas station/convenience store in Newington, 4 Hartford Ave.
