WeHa Resident Buys Winning Lotto Ticket At Well-Known Newington Store

NEWINGTON/WEST HARTFORD, CT — A prominent Newington grocery store was the site of a very happy West Hartford resident earlier this week, with a winning lottery ticket causing the joy.

The anonymous West Hartford person Monday, Sept. 23, purchased a MONEY ticket at the Stew Leonard's grocery store at 3475 Berlin Turnpike, Newington.

Normally home to unique groceries and a well-known roster of animatronics, Stew Leonard's on this day proved to be a place to enjoy some financial success in the form of a $25,000 payout.
