Dirt Bike Driver Hospitalized After Crash With Motor Vehicle: New London Police

Police are investigating the crash.

NEW LONDON, CT — A dirt bike operator was taken to the hospital after being involved in a crash with a motor vehicle, police said.

At 7:33 p.m. Friday, police and fire personnel responded to the area of Broad and Center streets for a reported accident involving a dirt bike and motor vehicle. Additionally, it was reported that the operator of the dirt bike appeared injured, police added.

Upon arrival, emergency service personnel located an injured man in the roadway. Immediate medical aid was rendered, and the victim was taken to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for medical treatment, police said.

The members of the New London Police Accident Reconstruction Team responded and is conducting the investigation.
