Fill The Spot: 276 Connecticut Ave.

Connecticut Ave. is a largely residential route in New London, but there are a few commercial spots at its intersection with Broad Street. And one storefront there is looking for a tenant.

The two front windows at 276 Connecticut Ave. each have a "For Rent" sign in them, with one advertising a one bedroom apartment on an upper floor and the other simply giving a phone number and the descriptor "Store." The interior is largely open space while the walls show some Whaler pride with a green and gold paint job.

Recent listings show the store hosting a hair stylist and nail salon. The storefront also once held a window and insulation service and the clothing design shop T&L Originals.
