Led by Glacier Society founder and chairman Ben Koether, with Captain Sandy Hartman at the helm, the Arctic Scout navigated the East Coast successfully, enduring weather challenges but maintaining course toward its final destination. The boat arrived in Connecticut in late August and is now resting in preparation for next weekend's reunion.
The reunion will celebrate the brave servicemen who served aboard the USS/USCG Glacier. Veterans will have the unique opportunity to embark on a special cruise aboard the Arctic Scout, offering them a trip down memory lane. This reunion promises to be a heartfelt gathering filled with memories, camaraderie, and an appreciation for their service.
