A historic building that was most recently home to a sail-making business could become "workforce" housing, according to a report.
NEW LONDON, CT — A developer is pitching converting a historic downtown building into a "workforce" housing complex, according to The Day of New London.
The developer, which is based in Maine, is seeking a special permit to build 18 apartments at 6 Union St., which was most recently a sail-making business.
