New London Commission Approves Apartment Plans For Former Church Site

A developer's pitch to replace a long-vacant church with apartment units was recently approved, according to a report.

NEW LONDON, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission has approved a developer's plans to convert a long-vacant church into apartments, according to The Day of New London.

The commission approved a special permit and site plan application at its Oct. 3 meeting to convert the former Apostolic Cathedral of Hope at 157 Green St. into 11 apartments.
