New London Students Graduate With Nursing Credentials Through New Program
Three graduating seniors in New London have earned their Certified Nurse Aide credentials via a training partnership with a local college.

NEW LONDON, CT — Three graduating seniors from New London Multi-Magnet High School earned Certified Nurses Aide credentials through a new training partnership with CT State Community College at Three Rivers.
Nakayla Isaac, Valeria Ramales, and Addison Muggeo-Taggart completed the program as part of an initiative supported by ReadyCT and the Eastern Workforce Investment Board. The effort is aimed at preparing students for careers in the health care field while meeting workforce needs.
The program includes 120 hours of instruction — 60 hours of classroom training at the high school and 60 hours of clinical experience at Fairview Nursing Home in Groton. A registered nurse led the program, and a dedicated allied health lab was built at the school.
