Newtown Seeks Residents To Fill Openings On Boards

The Sustainable Energy Commission, Economic Development Commission, Lake Zoar Authority, and Commission on Aging all need a little help.

NEWTOWN, CT — First Selectman Capeci is seeking residents to volunteer to fill vacancies on the following boards:

There is a vacancy on the Sustainable Energy Commission, available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter.

There will be three openings on the Economic Development Commission, available to any registered voter. The term will begin Jan. 6, 2025.

There will be an alternate vacancy on the Commission on Aging, available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. The term will begin Jan. 6, 2025.

There will be an opening on the Lake Zoar Authority available to any registered voter. The term will begin Jan. 6, 2025.

The last day to apply is Nov. 8.
