North Branford GOP Drops Support For 2 Town Council Members

Plus, the full list of nominated candidates by both the Democratic and Republican town committees.

North Branford's Democrats and Republicans have both nominated their candidates for the upcoming November municipal elections, and some notable names were not on their lists.

Specifically, two current Republican members of the North Branford Town Council were not nominated for another term: Michael Doody and Rose Marie Angeloni. Despite not getting the nod by the GOP, Doody, a former mayor of North Branford, said he would find a way to get onto the ballot, according to the New Haven Register.

Additionally, current Board of Education Chairwoman Marcey Onofrio, a Republican, was not nominated for another term. Onofrio said she is not sure yet if she's going to run again, according to the Register.
