North Branford High's 2013 Varsity Football Schedule

Football season is almost upon us, and the North Branford Thunderbirds are looking to continue their winning ways.

Last year was an impressive season for the Thunderbirds, as they went 10-0 in the regular season. The team made it to the Class S championship game, where they lost to Ansonia, 59-26.

This year, North Branford High School opens at home on Thursday, Sept. 12 against Haddam-Killingworth and ends on the road against Hyde Leadership on Wednesday, Nov. 27. The full schedule for the 2013 North Branford High School varsity team is as follows:

• Thursday, Sept. 12: Haddam-Killingworth vs. North Branford, 6:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 21: North Branford at Ellington/Somers, 1 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 27: Gilbert/NW Regional vs. North Branford, 6:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 5: North Branford at Old Saybrook/Westbrook, 1 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 12: North Branford at Avon, 1 p.m.
• Friday, Oct. 18: Valley Regional/Old Lyme vs. North Branford, 6:30 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 1: Morgan vs. North Branford, 6:30 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 8: North Branford at Coventry/Windham Tech/Bolton, 7 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 15: Coginchaug vs. North Branford, 6:30 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 22: Cromwell vs. North Branford, 6:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, Nov. 27: North Branford at Hyde Leadership, 6 p.m.
