North Branford Looking To Bring In More Businesses
The hope is to offset the cost to the residential taxpayer by bringing in more businesses.
North Branford Town Manager Michael Paulhus is on a mission: to bring more businesses into town.
The New Haven Register reports that Paulhus is actively seeking to bring in new businesses to North Branford to offset the tax burden on residences. His idea is to market the town as a “quiet, kept secret… of a great community with a lot of great things to offer.”
“I think there’s a lot going on here,” Paulhus told the newspaper. “I think it’s a great location and there’s great opportunity here.”
