Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. Onofrio, 35, of North Branford, was charged with third-degree assault.Jan. 2Terrance Michael Lilly, 25, of New Haven, was charged with second-degree strangulation/suffocation, third-degree assault, interfering with an emergency call, and disorderly conduct.Jan. 3Ricardo Alexander Rojas, 30, of East Haven, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, and reckless driving. Police provide all information. Charges are allegations, not convictions. All are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
