North Branford's New Veterans Service Commission Has Inaugural Meeting

Created by the Town Council, the commission will hold events, promote awareness and recognition for those who've served in the armed forces.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT —Tuesday, the town's new Veteran's Service Commission held its first organizational meeting.

The new commission was created by the Town Council to provide support and recognition to the town's veteran community.

Its goal is to create events and promote awareness and recognition for those who have served our nation in the armed forces.

This new commission will begin to address a number of action items including the creation of a Veteran's Hall of Fame for the town, obtaining Purple Heart Community designation for North Branford, as well as other planned memorials and ceremonies.
