Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. It also affected our customers.. over the years we have built a strong rapport with our customers in the community of North Branford with that being said we’re happy to report that we are now back in business and look forward to seeing you all each, and everyone of you were truly missed.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Just before dawn Monday, a seriously injured man was found lying in the grass off of Forest Road, police said.It was 5:11 a.m., when the North Branford police and fire departments responded to the area of 189 Forest Road for the report of a male laying in the grass off the roadway. "The male was found semi-responsive and severely injured," North Branford police said. "Due to the male's injuries, it appears he may have been struck by a vehicle that fled the area."The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call North Branford police Officer Mathew Larsen at 203-484-2703.
