Town Proclamation Celebrates Stewards Of The Land Brewery Anniversary
Town celebrates its 5th anniversary, and the DeFranceso family, who've been North Branford farmers for 100 years, spanning five generations.

From North Branford Town Manager Michael Downes:
Congratulations to Stewards of the Land Brewery on the fifth anniversary of their being in operation! The Town Council issued a proclamation commemorating this event, signed by Mayor Rose Angeloni and presented by Deputy Mayor Jeff Macmillen, to Alex DeFranceso
and his family.
The DeFranceso family has been farming for over 100 years in North Branford, now spanning five generations of providing local, sustainable food to the community of North Branford.

Alex DeFrancesco has been integral in merging Connecticut agriculture and breweries, helping to create and pass the Farm Brewery Bill in 2017, serving on the CT Farm Bureau, and bringing his love of brewing and farming to the people of North Branford and beyond.
Stewards of the Land is a true Connecticut farm brewery, sourcing at least 25% of its ingredients from Connecticut farms as well as its water from the Farm River aquifer. Congratulations on five years to Stewards of the Land!
