- The non-emergency lines will be going down for a short period of time as they are re-ported over to our new facility. We have two cell phones active for this cutover to handle all non-emergency calls. Those numbers are: 203-464-5839 and 203-645-8270. There will also be a message sent via Facebook to notify residents when the phone lines are operational at the new building.
- All 911 phone calls will be transferred to another facility during the transfer of services, police said. "This is common practice in the 911 system and safeguards have and will always be in place," police noted. "Our dispatchers will be receiving emergency 911 calls from our partner agency and dispatching any and all resources. A message will be sent once we are operational at the new facility."
- Staffing has been increased for this transition and all of our vendors are very familiar with this process as they have done this at other 911 centers around the state.
