Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charge: North Haven Police

The man was arrested after an extensive investigation, police said.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A North Haven man was recently arrested on a child pornography charge, according to police.

North Haven detectives received multiple cyber tips in May from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), according to police.

Police said the tips reported a suspect, who was later identified by detectives as 21-year-old James Jaekle of North Haven, was viewing and sharing child pornographic material.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Jaekle after an extensive investigation, according to police.

Jaekle was arrested Oct. 18 and charged with third-degree possession of child sexual abuse material. He was released after posting a $100,000 bond with a court date of Nov. 7, according to state judicial records.
