• Big Lottery Prize Sold In North Haven (patch.com) — North Haven residents might want to check their favorite lottery spots after a $10,000 winning scratch ticket was sold at 195 State Street to an East Haven player. The report also notes that, under a new state law effective October 1, 2025, the Connecticut Lottery no longer releases winners’ names without written consent. 
• Teen, 14, Charged In Theft Of Vehicle, Attempted Car Burglaries In North Haven: Police (patch.com) — North Haven police say a 14-year-old from New Haven was arrested after a stolen car and several attempted vehicle break-ins on Ridge Road, with help from residents and a K-9. The teen faces multiple juvenile charges, and First Selectman Michael Freda publicly praised police, vowing continued aggressive efforts against crime in North Haven neighborhoods.
• 3 CT men charged in undercover sting sought sex with 13- and 14-year-olds, court records say (nhregister.com) — North Haven police and federal agents ran a December sting at a local hotel that led to three men being charged with attempting to exploit people they believed were young teens. Investigators say each suspect traveled to North Haven after online conversations with undercover agents, and all now face serious child endangerment and related charges in state court.
