• Ecuadorian national gets federal prison time for returning to U.S. after fatal CT crash conviction (courant.com) — A man previously convicted in connection with a 2017 fatal crash on I-91 in North Haven has received a new federal sentence for unlawfully reentering the U.S. after deportation. Federal prosecutors say he was deported to Ecuador in 2023 but later returned and was arrested again in Meriden, leading to a 12-month-and-a-day prison term.
