Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 4-Year-Old Arrested: Norwalk Police

Police said a Norwalk man accused of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old child was arrested this week.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man accused of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old child last year was arrested Monday, according to police.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said the department's Special Victims Unit began investigating an incident in May 2023 in which a 4-year-old child was reported to have been sexually assaulted by Ricardo Cruz Cisneros, 27, of Norwalk.

According Evarts, a warrant was issued for Cruz Cisneros' arrest on Monday. He was later spotted driving around Norwalk early Tuesday morning and arrested.

Cruz Cisneros was charged with first-degree sex assault and risk of injury to a minor.

His bond was set at $750,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court later this month, according to Evarts.
