4 Teens Rescued After Kayaks Overturn In Norwalk: Report

The teens were unharmed but were reportedly cold and wet.

NORWALK, CT — Four teens were rescued after their kayaks overturned in 50-degree weather in Norwalk Friday, NBC Connecticut reports.

Fire officials responded around 9 p.m. Friday when someone called 911 saying they could hear cries for help. The teens were out of their boats and without life jackets.

The boys were in two two-person kayaks and were headed back to shore when they were knocked out of the kayaks. All four teens were unharmed but were cold and wet.
