"In Connecticut, it is illegal to sell products with a total THC concentration greater than 0.3% without a Cannabis license issued by the Department of Consumer Protection," said Norwalk Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts in a statement. He added that the legal amount of THC allowed in a gummy is 1mg.

Authorities had received information that AAA Smoke "was selling large quantities of pure marijuana and cannabis products that were well above the legal" levels for THC.
