Man, 18, Accused Of Burglarizing Norwalk Smoke Shop Arrested: Police
A man accused of burglarizing a Norwalk smoke shop and attempting to steal from another business in town was arrested, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — A man accused of burglarizing a Norwalk smoke shop and attempting to steal from another business in town earlier this year was arrested this week, according to police.
In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said a commercial burglary was reported March 26 at Utopia Smoke Shop on Connecticut Avenue.
That same day, police also received a report of an attempted burglary at Mohegan Smoke Shop on Westport Avenue, Evarts said.

After further investigation, which included reviewing video surveillance footage and collaborating with other area law enforcement agencies, police identified Tyssan Woods, 18, of Waterbury, as a suspect in these burglaries, according to Evarts.
Woods was arrested Tuesday on charges of third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and criminal attempt at third-degree burglary.

His bond was set at $225,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court earlier this week, according to Evarts.
