Man Accused Of Entering Norwalk Home Charged With Burglary: Police
Police said a man accused of entering a Norwalk home and trying to interfere with a 911 call was arrested on burglary and other charges.

NORWALK, CT — A man accused of entering a Norwalk home and trying to interfere with a 911 call early Saturday morning was arrested on burglary and other charges, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said a residential burglary was reported in Norwalk around 4:30 a.m.
The caller told police she woke up and found a man standing in her home. She also said the man tried to take her phone when she called 911 and fled the area before officers arrived, Podgorski said.

During their investigation, detectives reviewed video surveillance footage and identified Jose Gomez-Gonzalez, 29, of Norwalk, as the man who entered the home, according to Podgorski.
Gomez-Gonzalez was arrested later that morning on charges of first-degree burglary, interfering with an emergency call and disorderly conduct.

His bond was set at $500,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court this week, according to Podgorski.
