The city has announced upcoming celebrations planned in honor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.

NORWALK, CT — The city has announced upcoming celebrations planned in honor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, which falls on Jan. 19 this year.

According to the city's Facebook page, the following celebrations are currently planned to take place:

Sunday, Jan. 18 at 3 p.m.
