Norwalk To Hold 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony At City Hall
Norwalk will mark the 23rd anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks with a remembrance ceremony this week.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk will mark the 23rd anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks with a remembrance ceremony this week.
In a statement, Mayor Harry Rilling invited the community to join him, Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff, members of the city's Common Council and the city's police and fire departments for a ceremony scheduled to take place Wednesday at 9 a.m.
The ceremony will be held on The Eric Malmquist Track Field next to City Hall, located at 125 East Avenue, in front of the 9/11 Norwalk Memorial.

The city will honor all victims of the attacks through prayers and musical performances, officials said.
The names of the 14 Norwalk residents who died in the attacks will also be read aloud during the ceremony: Paul Dario Curioli, Ronald Gilligan, Edwin John Graf III, William C. Hunt, Thomas E. Hynes, Adam J. Lewis, Edward Francis "Teddy" Maloney III, Cesar A. Murillo, Robert Walter Noonan, James Matthew Patrick, George E. Spencer III, Derek James Stakevicus, Bradley H. Vadas and John Bentley Works.
