Mafalda volunteered often at St. Joseph’s School, helping in any way that she could. Several years later she took a position at the South Norwalk Public Library, where she worked at the Children’s Desk. She was an avid reader so it was a perfect match for her.
She so enjoyed all aspects of her daughters’ lives, especially becoming a grandmother and then a great-grandmother. She was Grandma Scordo to many, Nonni to some and loved by all.
