Norwalk Man Faces Charges of Violating Order of Protection
The suspect is accused of emailing and trying to give flowers to a woman where she works in Old Greenwich.

A 35-year-old Norwalk man is facing charges he violated an order of protection by emailing a woman and then trying to deliver flowers to her where she worked in Old Greenwich.
The suspect is charged with two counts of violation of a protective order in connection with two incidents that occurred last week, according to a Greenwich Police report. Police obtained an arrest warrant on Nov. 3 for William M. Stowell, 35, of 25 Grand St. He was arrested at the state Superior Court in Stamford shortly after the warrant was signed, according to the report.
Stowell is accused of sending an email on Oct. 27 to a woman who obtained a court order of protection that barred all contact including emails, according to the police report. Then on Oct. 28, he tried to deliver flowers to the woman at her office but was stopped by the woman’s boss, according to the police report.

Stowell was held in lieu of $35,000 bond and was scheduled to appear Nov. 3 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
