Obituary: Remedios Wegrzyn, 71, of Orange
Remedios, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, worked many years as a cook for local restaurants.
ORANGE, CT - (From Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home) Remedios Wegrzyn, age 71, of Orange, beloved wife of the late Richard Wegrzyn Sr., passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021, surrounded by her family.
Remedios was born in the Philippines on August 15, 1950, to the late Roman and Rosalind Buenabili Millares.
Remedios was a cook at Friendly’s Restaurant for many years and later at Thule in Seymour where she worked on the assembly line.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her children: Richard Wegrzyn Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Stratford, Remy Wegrzyn and her fiancée Ray Jelliffe of Milford, and Randy Jay Wegrzyn of Stratford, eight grandchildren; David (Nicole), Tyler and Jayden, Amanda, Krystal and Jeffrey and Randy Jr., and Samantha and three great-grandchildren, Amelia, Payton and Preston.
Friends and family may call on Friday, November 26th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.
Interment will be private.
