Obituary: Roberta “Bobbie” Unger, 78, of Orange

Bobbie, always loving and devoted to her family, was known as upbeat, generous, confident and goal oriented.

ORANGE, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Roberta “Bobbie” Unger, 78, of Orange, beloved wife of 55 years to Ronald Unger, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2021. Born on May 25, 1943 in Concord, NH, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Doris Stiles.

Bobbie was known throughout her life to be upbeat, generous, confident, and goal oriented. This reflected not only in her career where she was a very successful sales manager but throughout her courageous battles with ovarian cancer which she had beaten twice over the course of 30 years.

She had a love for the holidays, especially Christmas and Easter, and spending time with her family and close friends.

Above all else, Bobbie was a dedicated and devoted wife, a loving mother, and doting grandmother.

Along with her husband, Bobbie leaves behind her son, Eric Unger; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jamie Unger; sisters, Jeanne Trulove, Deborah Perkins, Sherry Perry, and Suzanne Stiles-Jean; and extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Robert “Jay” Unger.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. with a funeral service to begin at 12 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.

Interment will follow at Orange Center Cemetery, Orange Center Road, Orange.
