OXFORD, CT — In the aftermath of the devastating flooding which has pulverized much of the town of Oxford, a number of GoFundMe accounts have been established to aid some of the victims.

One account was established to assist Randi Marcucio, an emergency room nurse whose ranch-style home on East Hill Road collapsed. The single mother of a 3-year-old son had just bought the house in May 2022, according to town land records, and lost everything they had. With no flood insurance, none of the damage will be covered.

The moment of the house's collapse was caught on video and shared with WFSB-TV3, and may be viewed here.
