Oxford Center Volunteer Fire Company Holds Annual Christmas Meeting
Firefighters said they gathered on Tuesday to celebrate the season and elect officers for 2026.

OXFORD, CT — The Oxford Center Volunteer Fire Company says it held its annual Christmas meeting Tuesday night, bringing together firefighters for an evening of "great food, community spirit, and holiday cheer."
Members of the department shared a meal and participated in a toy donation drive in support of the Oxford Police Department’s Toys for Tots campaign, officials say.

In a social media post online, fire officials thanked everyone who contributed to the evening's success.
During the meeting, officials said members elected the following officers for the 2026 term:

- Captain: Ken Blood
- 1st Lieutenant: Mark Krassner
- 2nd Lieutenant: Dave Ceste
- Secretary: Nick Russell
- Treasurer: Jeff Hagstrom
- Board of Directors (Member): Matt Romeo Sr.
