Oxford Firefighters Extinguish Chimney Fire

OXFORD, CT — The Oxford Fire Department extinguished a chimney fire on Hogs Back Road Monday evening. The call came in at 5 p.m.

The fire was contained to the chimney with minimal damage, according to the fire department. Cars 1 & 2, Truck 46, Engines 41, 31 & 51 and Rescue 44 responded.
