Oxford Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of Teen: Police
An Oxford man is facing charges that he sexually assaulted a juvenile victim, according to police.
OXFORD, CT — An Oxford man is facing charges in the sexual assault of a teen, according to state police.
The parent of a 14-year-old discovered their child had told friends about the sexual assault, which occurred in July in Oxford, via text messages.
The teen had attempted to fight back but was overpowered by the adult, according to police.

A police investigation found the juvenile victim alleged that the adult had sexually assaulted them multiple times over the span of about four years, police said.
Investigators reviewed text messages between the juvenile and the adult and found that the messages were consistent with the teen's allegations.

Police obtained a search warrant for the home of Gregory Lux, 43, of Oxford, on July 28. While the search was going on, Lux made plans to travel out of the area, according to police.
Police applied for and were granted a warrant for Lux's arrest for risk of injury to a child. He was held on $300,000 bond and arraigned July 31 at Derby Superior Court.
Lux was then charged Thursday with three counts of first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child. He was arraigned the same day and remains in Department of Corrections custody.
