Oxford Senior Center To Close Temporarily Due To Roadway Repair Work
Governors Hill Road is in need of repairs following considerable damage brought on by last week's devastating flooding.

OXFORD, CT — With cleanup and damage repair from last week's devastating flooding still in progress, the Oxford Senior Center will be closed for at least the next week, First Selectman George Temple said in a social media post.
Roadway repairs on Governors Hill Road have prompted the decision to close the senior center from Aug. 26 thorough Sept. 2, Temple wrote.
He added that transportation services will also be unavailable during that time period.
