Rhode Island artisan makes Oxford her new home and debuts at Oxford Arts & Crafts Fair

Come to the Oxford Arts & Craft Fair and meet the Carol McElroy, the artisan behind Red Oak Fiber Arts.

Red Oak Fiber Arts was established in 2018 focusing on hand woven fiber arts. Products include hand woven scarves and shawls, baby blankets, kitchen/hand towels, table runners, placemats, napkins. Hand knit hand felted adult mittens and baby booties as well as two sizes of bowl cozies round out the items for sale.

Owner Carol McElroy has been in Oxford resident for just over a year after moving from Rhode Island. She owns three looms and when she’s not weaving or knitting she enjoys baking, gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

The Oxford 54th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair will be held Saturday Nov 1st from 10am -4pm at Oxford High School, 61 Quaker Farms Road
