Town-Wide Clean-Up And Celebration Slated For Saturday In Oxford
A community-wide clean-up and flood recovery event will bring together Oxford residents to beautify the town and support recovery efforts.

OXFORD, CT — A community-wide clean-up and flood recovery event, led by Economic Development Director Jeffrey Luff, will bring together Oxford residents to beautify the town and support local recovery efforts.
The event, scheduled for Saturday afternoon, includes a clean-up along Oxford Road (Route 67) and residential roads, live music and a celebration with food and drinks at the Boar’s Nest at 248 Oxford Road. A special surprise announcement will also be made during the event.
A community gathering and lunch at the Boar’s Nest begins at noon, with the town-wide clean-up running from 1:30-3:15 p.m. Participants then return to the Boar's Nest at 3:30 p.m. for a celebration.
