70-Year-Old Ridgefield Man Injured After Being Struck By Van
A 70-year old-male was struck by a small delivery van on Thursday, and fell onto the driveway striking his head.

WILTON, CT — Wilton Police Dispatch said they received a 911 call reporting a pedestrian was struck by a small van in the common driveway in the circle between Scoops and the Village market in Wilton on Thursday.
Captain John P. Lynch said when officers arrived on scene they discovered a 70-year old-male had been struck by a small delivery van and fell onto the driveway striking his head. Wilton Fire and EMS responded and transported the male to Norwalk Hospital, Lynch said. There is no further information regarding the victim’s injuries.
The victim is a resident of Ridgefield. Police said the Wilton Police Department’s accident investigation team was activated and is conducting the investigation. No further information is being released at this time due to the open investigation.
