Kay Lois Cornell Ables, 89, died July 24, 2025; she was a master gardener, historian, author, community volunteer, and founder of Ridgefield's R.U.O.K.? program who served as town historian, led preservation efforts at Keeler Tavern and the David Scott House, and enjoyed travel, birdwatching, and gardening.

Lawrence Arthur “Larry” Bossidy, 90, died July 22, 2025; a former GE vice chairman and Honeywell CEO, he was also a Colgate Hall of Fame pitcher, bestselling business author, and avid supporter of youth sports, golf, and Ridgefield civic organizations.

Thomas J. Smeriglio Sr., 97, died July 16, 2025; a U.S. Army veteran and former co-owner of the Toby Jug restaurant in Danbury, he spent decades gardening, golfing, fishing, bartending, volunteering at community events, and serving with the American Legion and Italian American Mutual Aid Society.

Edward Matthew Jamroga Jr., 82, died Jul 2, 2025; a U.S. Army veteran and tradesman, he served as a volunteer firefighter, Freemason, Odd Fellow Noble Grand, and active church member who enjoyed woodworking and family game nights
