Acclaimed Author To Discuss New Mark Twain Biography In Ridgefield
A Pulitzer-winning author will present his new Mark Twain biography June 12 at Ridgefield Playhouse in a special event.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer Ron Chernow will appear in Ridgefield next month to discuss his latest work, a biography of Mark Twain. The event is scheduled for June 12 at the Ridgefield Playhouse and is hosted by the Mark Twain Library in Redding.
Chernow’s newest book, "Mark Twain," offers an in-depth portrait of the celebrated author and humorist, who was also the library’s founder. The biography, released May 13, was partially researched at the Mark Twain Library and is a featured title on Chernow’s 17-stop national book tour, which includes cities and towns significant to Twain’s life such as Hannibal, Missouri; Elmira, New York; and Hartford, Connecticut.
“We were extremely honored when Ron Chernow visited us to do research for this book and equally honored to be included among the exclusive venues where he shares insights into his latest bound-to-be-bestseller,” said Mark Twain Library Director Erin Dummeyer.
