Boil Water Advisory Lifted For Ridgefield Residents

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Aquarion Water Company has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory it had placed upon its Ridgefield customers.

"Aquarion Water Company has collected and tested water samples from the Ridgefield System, and no bacteria were detected. The samples indicate that the water is safe to drink," utility company officials said.

A Boil Water Advisory has been issued to approximately 2,400 of Aquarion's customers in Ridgefield, following a water main break in the area of Woodcock Lane on Monday.
