Being prepared isn’t an option, it’s a necessity. Join the Community Emergency Response Team in partnership with Ridgefield High School for a series of CERT Preparedness programs designed to fit the needs of our high school aged students. The goal of TEEN CERT, the brainstorm of RHS sophomore Will Knispel, is to offer useful life-skills to his fellow classmates. Want to know when and how to safely to administer Narcan? Want to be able to buy someone time with CPR and AED skills? How about changing a tire and checking the oil? Do you know the safety measures to take when surfing online or engaging in social media? Take advantage of all or any programs of interest. They are cost free to all high school students in Ridgefield.
