CT Eatery Named Among 100 Best In America: Open Table

BANTAM, CT — When Connecticut restaurants are recognized nationally, often it is the famous pizza shops in New Haven gaining national acclaim. However, a recent list from OpenTable named a different Nutmeg State restaurant in their listing of the 100 best restaurants in America.

Arethusa Al Tavolo, a farm-to-table menu contemporary American eatery in Bantam was named as one of the nation's best restaurants. The restaurants were not ranked by number, but listed in alphabetical order.

The eatery received 4.8 stars on OpenTable.com, and boasts dishes such as tempura squash blossoms, Mustard Glazed Organic Scottish Salmon and tartare of yellowtail. It's aim is to celebrate the ingredients of the Arethusa Farm in Bantam in Litchfield.

The restaurants were voted on by OpenTable Diners, and is based on analysis of over 12 million reviews of more than 26,000 restaurants across the country by verified diners. The website is known for taking reservations for numerous restaurants across the country.
