'Expect Significant Delays': Prospect St Upgrades To Snarl Traffic

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Eversource Prospect Street upgrades are scheduled for Jan. 9-16, according to a news release from the town.

The work will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., except on the final day, Jan. 16, when construction will continue until 9 p.m.

During working hours, there will be one lane open for traffic from The Prospector Theater to Grove Street.

Town officials are warning residents to "expect significant delays at the intersection of Prospect Street, Grove Street and East Ridge Road."

School drop-off and pick-up times will be particularly busy, and officials are urging residents to find alternate routes.
