Former DTC Chair Endorses Angela Rice for Board of Education as Collaborative, Experienced Educator

Rice's vision, dedication, and community leadership make her the advocate Ridgefield schools need to support every child's success.

I am proud to support Angela Rice, an experienced educator and dedicated advocate for our schools. As Branchville PTA Co-President, she led with vision during the pandemic, helping families stay connected through initiatives like the “100 Acts of Kindness” challenge. She also co-created programs that foster empathy and belonging, including the Parent/Child Book Club, Family History Fair, and partnerships with the Prospector Theater and the Center for Empowerment and Education. Beyond that, she volunteered additional time supporting our entire RPS community as PTA Council Co-President. I also know Angela personally as a parent—our boys have been friends since elementary school and are now starting high school together—and I have seen firsthand her warmth, open-mindedness, dedication to educators, and unwavering commitment to every child’s holistic success. She is a leader who listens, learns, and partners with others—embodying the collaborative spirit our community needs.
