Nárcissza “Ciszka” Vilma Paula Erzsébet Ludányi Layton, 91, died July 13, 2025; a chemist and co-founder of Interlab, she led the company as president and CFO, held degrees in chemistry and math, supported immigrant workers, and enjoyed gardening, swimming, art, and reading.
Douglas Kleinmann, 83, died July 13, 2025; a space physicist and program manager who co-discovered the Kleinmann-Low Nebula, contributed to atmospheric instrumentation for NASA missions, earned a PhD from Rice and MBA from MIT, played trumpet, supported Boy Scouts, and explored with The Explorers Club.

Rudy Robert Chelednik, 90, died July 3, 2025; a retired electrical motor inspector and U.S. Army veteran, he coached youth football, volunteered at St. Mary's Adoration Chapel, and enjoyed gardening, garage tinkering, and following the Yankees, Steelers, and UConn women's basketball.
James L. Boehme, 77, died June 22, 2025; a longtime security industry executive and Ridgefield community volunteer, he was active in pickleball, photography, and mentoring others.
